Southern California June Gather - A Meeting of Minds

It is that time again... to choose a day... MHB has all the info... I expected to see a thread by her already here. If she did start one and I missed it...

Anyhow, June 18th was appearing to be a good day. It does not bother Rod and I that it would be on Father's Day, but if anyone over here has trouble with it please speak up so we can choose another day that works for everyone.

There was another day that worked but I cannot remember it now... just post the Sundays that work for you in June and I will try to double check it with the two days over at the other KT site.

The 18th seems to be the date that we are leaning towards, but we really need to make a discision before the end of March so I can book the site.

Hey Pam, Check with our Ruathan Treeclimber to see if that weekend would be alight for him and his Elfen Anime Artist. I'll send an E-mail through his site but you seem to have a more effective contact.

By the way, the Renaissance Pleasure faire is back at Santa Fe Dam Recreational Area in Irwindale for the weekends of April 8th thu May 21st from 10 am to 6 pm this year. Advanced ticket are available through the site:

Oh, I've been meaning to mention to y'all that I'm going to make a page for Anne's birthday binder from the SoCal fan contingent. I figured I'd just make a page with a bunch of pictures from the gather on it, including our favorite family member up a tree

Sounds good.

We will be having things on skewers, including salmon, so this is a bit of a departure from the regular stuff. Also might do veggie skewers for another change of pace.

The other weekends in June are alright by me, however I suggest we go for the 25th. Our gathers have been in the 2nd half of June to avoid graduations and stuff.

Oh and Pam, which Lois Bujold McMasters book are you reading? This nosy Miles Vorkosigan fan needs to know.

Hmm... I should update that. I finished Ethan of Athos last week. Waiting for the next one to get here from amazon.
