Although with all these arches it seems a bit "open" : Was it part of a fortress?

Jube: the original was 1106 but was timber. This bit is 13/14th century (contemporary with the Bishop's Palace at St Davids {which was one of Dernok's guesses})

Hans: yes.

Right! I've had three correct PMs.

The answer is Swansea castle. There's not much more of it left. Just the four bare walls of this one late building originally in the outer bailey.

1. Dernok;
2 Jube;
3 Hans.

NEXT!!!

Go Dernok, CONGRATS* on being the first to get it.

*It's been awhile since we used to do this, even I had forgotten to congratulate people so figured I'd get the ball rolling again. OOoops sorry, hope no harm was intended.
