We're nearing #250! But first you'll have to guess #239:

I'll take #250 if that's the case and only because it might take that long for me to find the photo that I've temporarily lost

Okay, in Europe?

Tough luck, Jube. I already have designated #250 for Anneli, the one who started this game!

And yes, in Europe

All fair in love and war. That's okay. I really don't mind. Just I'd throw it in and see what springs up (I've seen this before but honestly can't remember where I've seen it *grumbles* now I'm going to have to nit-pick my brain again - ever had that feeling where you've seen something but can't remember where ).

Uhm, P'ter. I don't know my own provinces, my apologies.
It isn't in the Noord-Brabant province but in Gelderland!

Well, at least you all know now that it'll have to be fairly close to the border between these provinces

Sorry again,
the answer to P'ter and Jube is (therefor): no.

Okidoki, start afresh..............I'll come in through the back corner of Achterhoek of the Gelderland region then?

PS Hans, seeing as we got regions mixed up, would my post 16 still count or not? Just getting my facts correct, that's all.

No, not Zaltbommel

Oh DRAT. I was SURE that I had typed an answer to the earlier questions but it doesn't seem to be here. Maybe hit a wrong button or something.

Jube, the answers to your earlier answer stays no and to your latest question it is no.

But it's a yes! to Space Dog's question.

As for Nederhemert, P'ter, it lloks like someone doesn't want his house on Google. Placing a parabolic mirror in your garden seems to do the trick

And the PM is correct.

It is the chapel of the Valkhof (transl.: Falconcourt) castle that once stood on the shores of the river at Nijmegen.
The park with the chapel lies at the location where a big castle stood until the end of the 18th century. First this was a Roman castle, then extended by Charlemagne and later emperor Friedrich Barbarossa rebuilt it. In the late 18th century it was demolished and the stones were sold. Today little more remains than a ruin of a Romanesque chapel (To St. Martin) and this better preserved octagonal chapel (To St. Nicholas).
A few years ago a businessman came up with the plan to rebuild the castle. Of course this could only be a modern building, and thankfully it never happened.

Well done.

I have not waited for the second page to start as these topics are usually dead after the correct PM is acknowledged.

Actually reflections like that this are quite common in google earth. They're not caused by mirrors placed deliberately to blind satellites but by roof windows which are coincidentally in the right angle to reflect the sunlight to the satellite.
