What is Happening, part II

For 4th of July fireworks. Every town and small and large city would "like" them on that day. I am sure there is a limited number of companies in the US that do fireworks displays. So, cities that can afford THE day price will have it on the 4th. The rest will be on other days and slightly cheaper.

My system started leaking a little while ago! I wish I'd brought some tape today.

Hot, humid day. Put out the bird feeders and that's my one foray into the inferno. We are lucky to have central air.

Bossy girl claims she told me to let the dogs out of their cages for walks while she was at church. I did not hear her say that! I cleaned up after them! What else does she want?!? Having to keep track of them. That should be her responsibility, not mine!

Just had 2 hard boiled eggs and a small bowl of fresh strawberries from the farmers market for dinner. When I was growing up my brother would not eat egg whites and I would not eat the yolks. You could say we were compatible. I will now eat all the egg as long as it is well cooked and not runny.

It's a different type of skin barrier, but from the same company. I still can't believe my nurse discharged me without telling me! The company she works for said I missed some appts and they couldn't get a hold of me! That's gotta be false. In the recent calls part of the phone, there's no record of the company calling the phone on the days they say they tried getting a hold of me! It's someone else's phone. Unless they tried my mom's phone. When the nurse would make a visit, she didn't bring any supplies I might need. A time or two, I asked and was told she did not have it! She knew I had an illeostomy! She'd "order" the skin barriers but nothing came the following week! This happened at least twice!

Happy birthday, Ginnystar! My system's leaking! Tired of having to change them constantly! Might have to go to the hospital,if that happens,I'll be offline! Washed and dried the stoma and the area around it. Put a new system on. Hopefully, this one won't need changing till Wednesday at the earliest.

Went to the thrift store. Got a "sharp pointy thing" (kitchen knife) for our daughter's boyfriend; a small, square Waterford Crystal bowl for our son which I think will match his "modern" decor, and a Hummel for me - the little boy and girl standing under an umbrella. Quite often I find nothing, then there are days like today!

Mom's son came in the house and asked, " where's Maria(bossy girl)", he knew where she was, according to the boss. If he knew where she was, why ask? He asked me what I was doing, I told him, "cleaning out the cage." I was supposed to stop while he was here! I didn't know that! He would have seen the paper towels on the cage, asked "What's going on? Why are there paper towels on the cage?"

today, we went out to eatm, at a nice place, if myfeeling better we would have slpit a full rack of ribs, dad told me that they fell off the boans, and the meat was so teander cut it with a fork., I had a sandwitch with american cheese not swis , cut thin philly style still have theother half for later , and gave dad the ttwo toothpick s to crcfor later, either for ppppegs for the cribbage board or forhim to use.
I gave him a belated Father;s DDay gift bag, got the knot to tight but he used the bags to return with my lefovers safely to my place, but I gave him Irish Spring soap , and unsweetented Crandberry juice , hard to find here in WI were we grow a lot of them, fuel cards. I was telling him of a different weeken in the Fall he might like to see for we both like Art, He is self tought landscapes in his spare time.

Heard on the news about a rare Tornado in theNetherlands I hope all members are safe.

Also BD1 If its someone else job to keep the cage clean, before that is her problem not yours. Good luck.

Ginny, there's times she tells me she wants me to clean out the dog cages. Sometimes she'll tell me " you do too much" in a critical tone! If I don't do anything, she'll say I'm lazy! She says I gotta be messing with my system to make it leak! I think it's the activity I'm having to do, or excess fluid in my intestines. Today, found out my doctor is on vacation!

Depends on the display. But for anything professional, in the US the 4th of July and New Year's Eve are no doubt the two days that the pros have to make their money.


I'm in Finland, and here ordinary people are only allowed to use fireworks between 6 pm on New Year's Eve and 6 am on New Year's Day. Even pros need a permit for any pyrotechnics at any other time of year, like sports events or rock concerts. And the fireworks that ordinary people can buy are fairly innocuous, even if some people get hurt using them every year.

Sounds like she complains no matter what you do, and there's nothing that you can do to stop the complaints. There's a sort of weird freedom in that, if you just accept that she'll complain no matter what you do, you can do whatever you want.

We can buy some very small basic fireworks but anything big and it has to be set up and run by somebody with a pyrotechnics permit and they have to have government approved training. We'll have our big fireworks show on the evening of the 1st.

Tonight, had to clean out a dog cage. Told a housemate, "It'd be real interesting if mom's son came in the house right when I start cleaning the cage!. Wonder what lie she'd come up with this time!" She claims she cleans their cages, yeah, first thing in the morning! The rest of the time, I have to do that!

I'm glad your son was able to get their surgery, Mausey. It sounds like it was successful.

We can also only buy things like sparklers and very weak "bang makers" in our state. However, living as we do in what are basically 50 separate "countries" only loosely held together, it is just a short drive to another state where you can load up on fireworks that should only be handled by professionals. Ego and alcohol are usually a recipe for accidents around every 4th.

Zen Hugs, I feel for you, you well just have to find a balance point which might be hard but I know if you can try you can do it. Still tired out between the weather, and my birthday, and not feeling the best,weather is effecting me.

After reading the above post and your others about her my personal opinion is that you need to "grow a pair" of cojones and tell the bitch off.

As far as what she tells mom she does and what she really does, correct me if I'm wrong, but... You have a tablet. Every tablet I've had access to has had a camera and the capability to record video with it. Mine have had a front and a rear camera. If you hear her coming, start recording with the rear camera while it looks like you're doing something on the tablet. Catch her telling you what to do or don't do, and use it as evidence against her if, no not if, when she goes running to mom to complain about you after her where to go and what to do with or where to stuff her demands and orders upon her arrival. Now that I've presented you with the basic concept, feel free to use your own creative nature to hone and fine tune it to more perfectly fit your unique situation.

Tablet is nearly dead. My roommate fussed at me for putting a puppy in his cage, " he wasn't bothering anyone. Why did you do that?" It was lunchtime for me. Puppies go in the cages at meal time!

Time for a new tablet! Have there always been multiple puppies where you live? Whose are they? Puppies are a tremendous amount of work. Are they purebred, intended to be sold or will homes have to be hunted up for them. Is the mother (and father) dog also there?

Alrighty then. Back to puppies. Whose are they, how many are there, are they pure bred/for sale or Heinz 57 variety? Puppies are messy and a lot of work! Oh, and are the parents there too?

One (the runt) belongs to bossy girl, the other one belongs to mom's son. We have the dad. I don't know where the mother dog is. While I was in the hospital for 2 months, she had a total of 13 puppies. The runt came out last. They are Cane corsos.

Good heavens! Those are basically mastiffs, an enormous breed of dog. Did they sell the other 11 puppies? We had a Bassett hound when I was a kid. She had one litter of puppies and after realizing how much work that was we had her spayed. How old are the 2 puppies that are still there?

Sold them or gave them away. At first, mom sold the runt to some man. She got him back (the runt), he was skinny, had a knot on his head! She gave the runt to bossy girl. I don't know how old they are.

This person who was given the puppy, my understanding was she is a good 20 years or so younger than you. Plus, it is HER puppy, she should take full care of it. Does anyone take these dogs for walks? An animal that big should have lots of exercise.

She has said I don't do anything, while she does everything! That's a bald face lie! Earlier, she was out on the front porch, I had to clean up the poop! She cleans up after the puppies first thing in the morning! I'm stuck with cleaning the rest of the time!

Somewhat Like I said on recording with your boice, @Allen and others, sorry had to update my computer and JAWS my text to speach softwerre , now not later, still unsure if both took, so if I drop out for a bit, its computertech related. ,as others with a better writting who know my own isn't the betst, because of my own learning problems, and we are willing to ;help out when we can, that gal, needs to take responsibility for her careing for the dog or dogs in questions, or your system is going to start giving you problems, . Apparently there are two new Stranger Things movies showing for the first time tonight. Our "kids" (39 years) are going to family for a watching party. I've never seen any of it. There is the potential for thunderstorms and possible power outage right in the middle of prime show time. Oh NO!

This afternoon, mom's son saw me out in the heat carrying the house keys to him. I'm too old too be doing that. I told him I've been cleaning the cages out during the day. Bossy girl said I'm lying. She does it in the morning, who does it the rest of the time? Me! At dinner time today, I was the last to get a plate! Why? Cage cleaning! And putting a puppy in its cage! She said she doesn't ask me to do it. When she's napping, who cleans the cages?
