While I was in the hospital, the dietician got me started on some nutrition shakes from a company called Kate farms. It's to help me gain weight! I'm underweight. Last friday, when my day nurse told me I was gonna go home, I said, "What??!!" She told me again. I told her I'd have to call some people on my contact list in my tablet to let them know.

More Later is what I was trying to say, too many putting my written name on documentss , yesterday, and not picking up a spelling mistake, , Sometimes I am at a place with little or no internet, so I try to say that I am going to be gone, not for a bit,, till summer in June. My dad's place is out were there is no internet, as a example .

Please keep him in your thoughts, with his heart giving him more problems, my own version of the six sences' or Talent told me something was wrong just not what, but he ended up overnight at the VA hostable overnight last week, but is home, with new medication to hope keeping that from happing , he is home, but resting he sounds very tired when I talked to him on Sun. I hope this may clear up my badly typed post from early on in this thread, sometimes my mind won't stay on topic it takes time to get back on track. Or takes me even more time for I to translated what I posted so I have to re-post stuff so folks understand me.

Last night, a girl I know told me some boxes have to go outside for the garbage men. This morning, she said I didn't have to take any boxes out. Why tell me the boxes gotta go out if I didn't have to take the boxes out?? Btw, I'm on my last box of Kate farm shakes!

Our original plan for today got derailed by a rather nasty little overnight snow storm. We had been going to my hubby's Aunt's memorial service but woke up to heavy wet snow and watching the reports from the city we didn't want to be anywhere near it. Of course, about 20 minutes past the "must leave now to be on time" time, it's perfectly clear and sunny and most of the roads are clear. While we feel badly about not going in, we desperately need the moisture and this was a very heavy wet snow. Not even the end of April and we had fire bans.

Once I get mine marked with my Penfriend3 dots, I can scan and see if I can upload to here, might take a bit longer, real life log jams are in my way, I do have all three PB US PB I think, I shall tell my staff to keep a eye out for them, I also Have a SFBC HB Cover which I think is nice, too. I don't know how good , for those are second hand books, but you should be able to see them, , LOL sourly Iam going to feel a little like 'poor Wanser' in All the Weyrs of Pern, trying to fine the scanner at times, but with Open book and JAWS I should be good, PernWWidia has some scanned for I shared some from my personal collection still can't code hyperlinks yet , so plain text well have to do for now., I think I did post them. Haven't been on as much lately. Internet at home is bad. Kibby only working 2 days a week means I'm not in Lynchburg as much. I try not to go to town if I don't need to. Trying to do shopping while she's at work.
Kibby is getting MRI done on shoulder on Monday & seeing Dr. in the afternoon to get results. I home they find out what is wrong. The Gabapente is helping a lot. Since that is for nerve pain, it should mean that the problem is nerves.

Our daughter and her boyfriend just got back from a wonderful week at Disneyworld. We are planning to go later this year. I am going to make a VERY colorful and special Mickey head needlepoint pouch to take along and carry small items in! We do LOVE Disney! 🤗😍

Kibby's MRI did not show anything, everything looked normal. She's going back to work full time next week.

We lost my sweet little kitten, Jessie, last night. I'm heartbroken. She was acting fine, running around yesterday morning. Last night I noticed she was panting. NOT a good sign in kittens. She could've hold her head up. She hadn't even been sneezing much, the last few days. She was only about 6 months old.

That is OK, sometimes we have nothing to say either, right now I am trying a new lap desk, to see if its going to help me out with my typing , while waiting for a few loose ends to get fix, they are ones that I can only wait and see what happens, new changes and this kinda stuff make s more stress for me, along with a lot of frustration, with some folks in real life, who were to take care of my money., so I didn't have to worry about it. My new pen and paper should be in Wed. of this week, so I am waiting to sign for it.

So today I went to ask a "Vodafone Ninja" how to pay the account for my new phone by internet banking. After explaining that I had no intention of putting my banking on my phone until I knew how to use an Android, he decided that I needed the "My Vodafone" app. But he couldn't make it work. Neither could the second ninja. A third ninja came and peered over their shoulders and said: "You have to take three breaths and then it'll come up." Me: "Why? Did it go Between?" Then had to explain what "Between" was. None of them had heard of Anne McCaffrey but Ninja no 3 was an Eragon fan. Hopefully I've made a new fan by using Annetalk out of context. Then I went to Arty Bees bookshop and bought a nice hardback copy of Nerilka's Story because I've worn my original paperback to bits.

Earlier this afternoon, a nurse came and saw me. She was supposed to have come yesterday. She put a new bandage on my incision and taped it. I have to wait until friday (she's gonna be here friday) to change my illeostomy bag and the flange! I showed her a flange container and a container for a dressing thingy.

BD1 I know the feeling, the waiting game, 'happy dance' my Victer Trek' came and the person was quite suprise that I signed for it , so welll, yesterday I didn';t hit the record button on my Book Port Plus, 'irk' at myself, but oh well, I can get it next week, its a hand held down loadable audio GPS map maker, can tell someone the ststreets, or what is around, or you can add your own, plus its your pen and paper, once set up i hope to be able to listen to audible books, and Talking books from LOC, and reads Tex, Some of my skills are not as ssharp but my recalling is still good, I can see in my mind a map of things, so I hope to get to and from places safer , Like the 4000 Block downtown ,, when we have events, my hearing isn't good in large groups, but they have streets blocks off so I should be good, and most folks 'see my long cane ' and are willing to give me qa hand. I know its going to take some time but I hope its going to be workth it. If no sidewalks then its using the fac of a clock, which might take me a bit longer but I should be able to adapt, for what I need, North is the river south is the road, east is home, and west is is Alice the Lawn Tractor LOL at my Self and the Jeep, home, just have to translated them to points on a cclock and I am there. note, I just gave general oveoverview of were I grew up, our a- thdriveway turns at the corner heading south to the road, with out that is just a ruft out what I hope to do, just not able to spell one word, so I explained who or what you well find there. Late last night, I had to change my bandage & my whole system, now, I'm out of flanges! Had to change my bandage this morning. I wish I had more flanges! The nurse ordered flanges and more aquacel AG (something that is silver in color and is a natural antibiotic) I think. It's a dressing that goes on top of my incision, then the bandage is taped on top of that.

Like who I share my birthday with Hellen Keller, same month and day, different year, also my parents willing to help in any way they can, supporting me, even if

Well I didn't go to my blind outreach meeting, but did send along some stuff for the group, and met the newlandlady and expressed my worry about needing the battries change for they have the key, I think I mmymay have had a bit of a misunderstadtand sorry I should have this at a lower rate for a few years here, and I have section 8 in their hands to fill in, my payee is fillling in thepaperwork for the next year lease , dang this mingrain is still making it harder to understand and spell, and run spell-check , I hope you folks understandd me. I also ask him to give me a bit more backup with fixing a passcode problem, for my current help is out of the area , and I think he can help for he can 'see' the s screen where I can not and he has help ed me out before.

There are going to be a lot of stiff and sore people in my little town today. We had our first Rummage Sale in 2 years and we are so out of shape. We set up on Wed, was only going to be a few hours, well it turned into 6 hours. Thursday is the big push and that's around 12 hours, Friday is a shorter day; it's only 7 or so. Then Saturday, I was over there at 9:30, sale started at 10 and absolute chaos until about 1. While we had a good turnout for the set-up, we were dreadfully shorthanded for the actual sale. I look after toys and games, board games, electronic toys, baby toys, dolls, stuffed toys, basic instruments, cars and trucks, you get the picture. We have 40 tables about 3 foot by 6 foot. All the big stuff like riding toys, high chairs, kiddy pools etc go against a wall and one lady looks after that. For the tables we usually have at least 8 people, this year we had 4. One gent who for years has come in and done nothing but sell jig saw puzzles ended up selling baby toys and dolls. (he was the closest person). What irkes me the most are the people who come in and buy 3 little toys for 75 cents and pay with a $20. There are 30 other people waving their arms, asking questions, wanting to pay for something and you're making change. These people are ones I know darn well gave been to every sale for the past 20 years. They know damn well to bring quarters but noooo, they can't be bothered to dig out change, want us to do it. Then every 10 minutes they want to buy another little toy. We tell them to just gather up what they want and pay at once but they can't be bothered. Kids are different, I always make time to talk to them and explain what the different coins are and why they sometimes get money back. :laugh"

I won't have numbers for a bit but all things considered, I think we did fairly well.

I went there. Back home again! :waves: The area around my stoma was red and inflamed. The last few days, the old flange was filthy and leaking, thus the redness and pain. Also it kept coming off. Ran out of tape for the flange. Finally, I threw it away. While I was in the ER, I was given the flange I needed badly!
