When I thought of this I was only thinking of weather. It also applies to what you prefer to drink. For me, I would rather have cold weather than hot/humid. For drinks, I like my tea and coffee good and hot all year round. The reason I prefer cold is because you can always put on more layers but having to live in air conditioning to be comfortable is not my idea of living. I like to be able to go outdoors! Four seasons are what I like. What's your pleasure?

HOT! Well, a warmer climate. As a photographer I do like the colours of other seasons but I just visited an island that has a year round temp of about 25 degrees and I could get used to that easily! I hate winter and I hate rain. Like Cilla I am glad somebody invented airconditioning when I am vactioning in hot climes but I don't like being in an aircondtioned room for too long. I'd rather go without or go with less clothes than use airco.
As for drinks: COLD, not necessarily refridgerated but though I like a strond coffee (espresso) if I had to chose between hot or cold, the hot drink would disappear in a jiffy.

Both! There are things I prefer in weather, both hot & cold. It seems that as I get older I can stand the cold better than the hot weather, but I still prefer summer over winter. Neither extreme is good, though.
Drinks: Hot or cold tea, don't drink coffee, beer, most cold but there are some that are good at room temp, as long as room temp isn't much above 60F.

I prefer hot. I can't say I like the summers in the south as they are too hot, but I'd rather be too hot than too cold. We're currently in Florida and I'm loving the "not cold" weather. It isn't really that hot where we are, but it definitely isn't as cold as farther north, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it!

I Wish I was in Florida. It is going drop down to 14f tonight. I wish the upstairs was insulated.

I don't mind cold weather and hot drinks. Not a huge fan of the reverse.

I like cold cold, and hot hot, no matter what the weather.
I mostly drink coffee, (hot strong black and unsweetened) or water. Well - the occasional ( ![]() I developed a taste for iced coffee on our last trip overseas but it never took on once I got back home. Perhaps because you have to slurp it up through the ice with a straw? AND!!! Shock! Horror! I wont touch pepsi or cocacola ![]()

It was that cold here as well this morning. Anything from 0 to 30 is pretty standard for us from now to about the end of March. It does get above that often during the day but when there is wind it still feels pretty cold. We're used to it and our houses are insulated for it. I hope your temps go up soon, maw. Being too cold or too hot is not pleasant!
Lily, I don't drink soda of any kind any more. Far too much sugar in it and diet soda is disgusting (to me, anyway).

Hmmm, I like winter just because of the snow, but not shen it falls in the city and makes a mess. I don't like cold or hot, as for the last years we have gone through extreme tempretatures (+50 in the summer, -30 in the winter).
As for the drinks, cold. I drink cola like there's no tomorrow. Yes, I know it's not good.

Now I need the Like button!
![]() I like hot drinks more in winter and vice versa. One thing I don't like is a drink that is too sweet. That would be Pepsi or sweet tea for me. I use very little sweetening in any drink.

Hot, but I don't really like extremes of either hot or cold.
Drinks: Water, lemonade, iced tea, occasionally hot chocolate.

I am not a fan of very hot weather. We don't have air conditioning, and we have a wall of windows on the western sideof the house. Afternoons in the summer can get pretty unbearable.
I also don't like really cold - the other day I could see my breath when I went out to wait for my transportation to work. That's too cold. And this from someone who once lived in South Dakota and braved a day that was 20-below with a wind chill of 90-below. For the most part, I live in a lovely Mediterranean climate, with 300 days of sunlight a year. If I want to see snow, I can look at the mountains (between the palm trees). |
