This is a fantasy book written by my niece's husband, Arnan. I haven't read it yet, but others who have really liked it. It is available right now for Kindle for free.

A forward. Godsplaining. A translucent moon. Vague prose that at one point implies the prologue character IS the big bad. Reading through extreme cataracts. An honest-to-god 'as you know, Bob, ...' No wait, make that two. An allergy to colons. Silent voices that seem to speak. WOMEN ARE EEEEEVIL! Clunky, clunky phrasing. Attack of the insane eyeballs! Ridiculous analogies. The land where triangles don't exist. Inanimate objects displaying contentment. Obvious evil uncle. Transfixed by what? A princess with eyes and mouth on the back of her head? Odd-one-out lists of bad analogies.
But I'm afraid even the regular lols aren't enough to hold my interest. |
