They don't use saddles. Just the straps. In DE/RSR P'tero uses a pad when he's been clawed in the derriere by the cats. Otherwise they're depicted/describe as just straddling the dragon's neck near the withers.

The numbering of the stations may not have been done in numerical or chronological order. In addition, the number assigned to Fort Hold may have been its equivalent of a zip code, i.e. Fort is 300, minor Holds tributary to Fort are 310, 320, etc., and small cotholds under the minor holds are 311, 312 etc.

Just guessing, but Tillek could be 100, High Reaches is 200, Ruatha is 400, and so on eastward.

So I've taken a break from modeling dragons and tried my hand at modeling Pern's buildings. My first attempt was Dunca's Cot. I had to make it a little bigger than it would normally be in order to get the scale right, since every block in Minecraft is one meter cubed, otherwise it wouldn't be able to have inside walls.

What do you guys think? I still need to add furniture, but how did I do so far?

Glows don't have rock inside of them, round spores, they are grown. Don't forget the covers for the glow baskets, They might be grown like mushrooms.

Read what I found out in the "Glows" thread. I've been looking at every reference to glows from all of the books I can find, and based on that, I came to the idea that glows are a type of moss or lichen, meaning they grown them on the rocks. I'm leaning heavily towards them being a moss. And the basket does have a cover.

Made a change to Cove Hold to try out a more saturated color scheme. Which do you guys like better? This version or the old one with the brighter colors? Just ignore the thing in the foreground.
