Uh, there WAS a Thebes in both Egypt and Greece That is certainly not his idea

And many tales can be spun as there is not really any trustworthy material to corroborate anything

Ah here something from Dragonseye/Red Star Rising http://www.npr.org/blogs/ed/2014/10/...m_content=2046

Also some place else, slide rules, that Jim Tillek used in Dragonsdawn.

When you looking for information on Dorse and you come up with a website, some other stuff, before adding , Dragonriders of Pern to it.

When I see 'FAX GLOBAL' on our telephone's caller ID and I think of that usurper instead of some faceless telemarketing firm.

Ah, I had to reread this for all the good memories.
And I was surprised that neither I nor anyone else had previously pointed out the irony of how BB sites dedicated to Pern are having our discussions in "Threads"

Okay, so you KNOW you've been reading Pern too long when you go to the theater playing "The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies" and you keen when Smaug dies....

....and you know that someone else has been reading Pern too long when you're not the only one
