I which he would go ahead and read AtWoP, too. The first 3 books really only have about 2.5 movies of stories in them. With AtWoP, you actually get enough plot for 3 good movies.

We're thinking similarly, but I think the Antagonist for a DQ movie should be the Oldtimers. And to keep the story concise. Bring part of TWD into the DQ movie, so the situation with the Oldtimers...
