Petrol is the word you're looking for, GinnyStar.

I've been following this thread with interest, and I sympathize with the too many cars problem.

Re: Zel's Automotive Antics & Occasional Distractions.

Yup. Not to mention if you load the back with a lot of stuff. That's why estates usually have a higher recommended PSI and sometimes stiffer suspension for the rear wheels than the comparable...

Mawra, I hope you had a great birthday!

We've had a windy and rainy week, but luckily they're forecasting a bit of sun for the weekend. Don't get me wrong, we definitely needed the rain after a...

I wonder what it would feel like to look at the world through firelizard eyes? They can catch images from human minds to find a particular person or place, so there must be some similarities with...

Healing in coldsleep?

I recently finished Dinosaur Planet and I just started reading Survivors. I've read both before, but so long ago that it feels almost like I'm reading them for the first time.

One thing that...

Re: Would it be possible to Impress a Dragon *and* be a Wher-handler?

I agree with Cheryl on this one. I know that Anne herself considered Todd's Pern writings canon, but I don't, at least in the cases where he clearly contradicts what she's written before. Watchwhers...

I was wondering about this thread, since you can't see anymore. Does AD really help? How about audio books and audio plays, I imagine that a blind person could get a lot of enjoyment out of those.
