Re: What is Happening, part II

Sounds like she complains no matter what you do, and there's nothing that you can do to stop the complaints. There's a sort of weird freedom in that, if you just accept that she'll complain no matter...

Depends on the display. But for anything professional, in the US the 4th of July and New Year's Eve are no doubt the two days that the pros have to make their money.

Re: Zel's Automotive Antics & Occasional Distractions.

Yes, we have hybrids like that, at least in Finland.

Most of our hybrids seem to be plug-in hybrids, in that you can run one just like an electric car by plugging it in when the battery runs...

Re: What is Happening, part II

Sounds like the kind of place people would move to, for lower cost of living, if they can work mostly remotely, with the occasional day at the office. A 2-hour commute one way is perfectly manageable...

Looks like your new project is coming along nicely, Zel. A family friend has two large dogs, a car like the VW Caddy or a Citroën Berlingo would probably be right up their alley. The wheelchair...

Oh, a trip to Hobbiton would be right up my alley. A visit to NZ has been on my bucket list for years, although it's very unlikely it'll ever happen.
