I've been holding this in for a few weeks now, but they've finally put it up on the site, so I can share with you all:

Anne McCaffrey is coming to Dragon*Con 2008!

Make your plans accordingly.

That's wonderful! I hope everybody has a fantastic time! Just thought of this. I wonder if she'll make a "sweep" of all the US conventions, and go to WorldCon as well?! I'm crossing my fingers that she doesn't get too worn out to go to Albacon, as I'm really counting on seeing her there!

Looks like it might be a big year for her after all. Like Cilla said...I sure hope she takes it easy and doesn't wear herself out.

Maw, I do hope you get to meet Anne after all...as she is quite wonderful and personalbe to her fans.

Annie Scarborough just dropped me a line to let me know she won't be able to make it to the Con this year, largely due to health reasons. I know we'll all be disappointed, but so was she -- so let's all just send good thoughts her way and hope to try again next time!
