Not Pern, but a Darned Good Buy
Went to Goodwill yesterday to drop off my <final> load of stuff before I finally get down to L'ville for good.
Of course I had to go in. Of course I headed straight for the books. So I'm browsing, and darned if I don't come across the trade paperback of Eragorn. So I snatch it up. So I'm looking and looking, find a few more books, and lo and behold! A hardcover version of Eldest, which I think is the second in the series? Haven't read them yet, have been meaning to buy them, so SQUEEEEEEEEE. At $1 for the trade PB and $1.50 for the hardcover, I think I may have done pretty well. *preen* |

That is an excellent buy! You have some great reading ahead of you! I just found they are making movie of Eragon that is coming out in December.
