I am Shelly. I will not tell you my name in RL because I do not like it. I was first introduced to Anne McCaffrey books because in seventh grade i was bored after a test and wanted something good to read. Boy did i get what i wanted
Now i just cannot get enough of them, am read them again andagain. They are the best. All of Anne McCaffrey's books are good that i have read. I also enjoy books by Tamora Pierce and Manga(Japanese Comic Books) I joined this forum so that i could talk to people without them thinking that i am crazy

You can't be crazy! If so, you're infringing on my copyright!
Welcome, have fun, and be scared of a certain other thread. Bwahahahahahaha!

Just wanted to introduce myself.
I'm from Australia and guess what: I Love Anne McCaffrey books Bet you guessed. The first book I read was "The Ship Who Sings" 15 years ago. I read it for the second time last month. It took me that long to find it again. I have read and re-read most of her books now and loved almost everyone of them. I didn't know anybody i could speak to about Anne's books until i found you guys and girls. I feel right at home have a great day TTFN

I finally made it over here after meaning to for the past couple months. Took long enough.
Anyway, my name is Crysania (in RL it's plain boring Sarah). I answer to both and have even found myself almost introducing me as Crys in RL before. I've been reading Anne since 1997 when my uncle gave me my copy of DRoP. I've read everything Pern related, the Freedoms, the first few Acorna books, and the Rowen although it's been a really long time since I've read that one (actually, I might have even read it before Pern... hmm...) so I don't remember it all that well. I need to pick up another copy. I'm another vertically challenged person (5'1"), I work at Barnes and Noble and read way too many books. Anything else you want to know about me? Just ask! Anyway, I think I know most of you already.

Hi, I'm Beth. And, I'm quite obviously new here.
I love the Pern novels, and intend to read some of the other books in the near future. My favorite authors are J.R.R. Tolkien and Anne McCaffrey. Besides books, I like playing musical instruments, science projects, and making costumes. |

Welcome, dearest Beth!
Feel free to contribute to any and all threads that catch your fancy. Everyone here is wonderful and/or lovely (though I'm a bit worried about C_ris and his penchant for cocktail dresses). I hope that you enjoy poetry!

I beg to differ my dear Crispy. Your more of an evening gown kind of guy. Cocktail dresses show too much skin and no offense or anything but you need to shave
