Robinton's son Camo - A Meeting of Minds

I still have 3 more (I think) books to read in the series so maybe I haven't come across it yet, but what happened to Camo, Robinton's son with Silvina?
Do we ever meet him again or find out what happened to him? The last I read of him was Sebell playing with him and Robinton's disappointment that he wasn't "more".

hmmm, not so much there in Dragondrums, but he does make quite an appearance.

We don't know what order you're reading (obviously you're on MasterHarper right now

) but his first published appearance was in Dragonsinger (chronologically coincident with part of Dragonquest) and a short appearance in Drums , & do you want to know the other book he shows up in?

I think Camo is a great character

He is truely a sweet person. I can see why Robinton never had any more kids though.

I've already read Dragondrums and Dragonsinger, but it was a year or so ago, unfortunately I don't remember Camo's role in those stories. I don't know of the next one he's in, but it will be a nice surprise! I'll have to re-read Dragonsinger to remember. I haven't had a chance to re-read any of them yet, still on my first time through. I'm not reading them in any particular order, I guess I probably should. I've been mixing them up, it's kind of nice to go back and forth in the stories and timeline. I just finished MasterHarper, someone else suggested it as a follow up to ATWoP to soften Master Robinton's death, and they were right

You will also find Camo popping up in The Dolphins of Pern... not much, but he is there.

Menolly takes him to Paradise river because he forgets its winter.
You have to feel sorry for Camo, all through the books people appear to have forgotten about him. Remember how he gets worried when Menolly's late to "Feed pretties!"
And he's a real friend too, remember how he comes to Menolly's defence.
Hes a bit like a Lenny who hasnt gone wrong. he likes pretty things, but on Pern, cos hes been at the harperhall all his life they know he's harmless.

He didn't come to Menolly's defence. He was worried about the fire lizards.

As I have not read Masterharper yet, this is news to me. Like everyone else said though, he appears in Dragonsinger, Dragondrums, and Dolphins.

Camo appears, at least to my knowledge, in Dragonsinger and Dragondrums. Otherwise, I don't know.

I adore Camo.

He may not have talents others possess, but one thing Camo has in abundance: His father's great big huge gentle Heart!

And i like the fact he loves bubbly pies as much as i do

camo goes to paradise hold with Menolly because Menolly needs a hand...Robse is like three and she's huge with the second baby (insert name here)...menolly comments that she spends most of the winter telling camo to put on his coat, and most of the summer telling him to take it off. and that hes sweet and is a good guardian for robse
