Arrival at Pern - A Meeting of Minds

Not my art, but I saw it on the Bad Astronomy Blog, and it reminded me of what a scene of arrival at Pern may have looked like.

I like it ~ it is very reminscient of the new colonists waking up and finding themselves AT Pern or very nearly so.
