Thank you both, and advance thank you's to those that will wander in and leave greetings later.
I've got nothing much special planned for the day, unless my hubby has a trick up his sleeve. But there are a few presents waiting around for me (and I even accidently discovered where my mom hid some presents when she was here a couple weeks ago). I can't blow the candles out on my real cake, I haven't even baked it yet! But here, I'll cut the beautiful dragon cake and hand out slices. That is a lovely if somewhat small cake, Hans. I guess just the first 7 people in the thread get a piece. The dragon slice is for me, but the rose is up for dibs, who wants it?

Lady Maelin, I did that by accident, last year, for Mother's Day. Only because Junior hid it in his wardrobe and I didn't realise he had put it there when I was putting his clothes away. Oops! No matter, he had 2 in hide-y holes and I only found 1.

Thanks to everyone for the greetings! My birthday was pretty simple, but we did go out to dinner, and a got some nice presents: a number of cds, one book, and a boxed dvd set of a tv show.
