Hans, just so you know, I of course ordered this book as soon as I heard of it I was quite disapointed I could not bring my little stone to it myself , even if I am not really sure I could have anyway . I did not finished it yet, but I appreciate reading about other experiences on discovering Pern and Anne! Especially from those few I knew

Probably need to be renamed (example Friends, fans and authors of Pern OR Brainships, talents and dragons). I remember it was discussed 2 years ago for those of us who missed out with perhaps doing a part 2 but never got off the ground so perhaps another one could be done for those who weren't in the first one. Is it possible?

As of today we have sold 142 copies of this book. Last time I looked it was 114. Not that sales suddenly went up, it's just that long ago I ooked Still, 142 for this kind of book isn't bad at all.

The Book actually arrived ( in Just 8 Days ) here a couple days ago, I didn't get a chance to read it right away due to fixing some Storm damage when a Tree kinda landed on my roof. All repaired now and I settled down and started reading. Strange thing though, 148 pages is gone in a flash. The Stories were great, Putting pictures to MOM names gave it a more personal feeling in a way. This was done very well, in all aspects a very professional piece of work, and well worth the space in any PERN book collection, Ms Mccaffrey must have been Pleased indeed for her fans to honor her in such a way as this. Kudos to ALL!

It looks like that was set by whomever submitted it to the iBookstore via Lulu, and then modified by Apple to match their ebook pricing structure. So it may have been submitted for a lower price, and forced into a higher pricing bracket.

Its more Mark Wise, and Print Wise also when I got hold of the musical that was offered, Dragonsongs, I just found the note that goes with it, and the stuff for my scrapbook, and hopefully be able to put it on here, don't know when or how, but I do have some contacts in the performing arts, and one of my kin works behind the shows in another area of the state.

Sorry for sound sour, but I like idea of bring to the stage, we have a program that I know one friend would I think get a bang 'seeing' it, that why I was asking so questions in my awkward way, I've use it to show who I've pick up stuff from you know who you are from the 'sister board'

I'm a bit confused, then. The 40 Years of Pern book has nothing to do with a movie or bringing the world of Pern to the stage?! When you mention Marks, is that actually dollars and cents? I get mixed up when people talk about real life activities and use Pern words and phrases as if it was all "real".

I would also love to see the play performed. I'll bet it's a lot of fun!

Sorry about that, @ Priscilla My mind get Pern and more twisted into something and then folks don't understand me, it hard to translated what my mind is trying to say, budgets and all that, I used the same way to pay for both items, and one more item, I've found enjoyment with.

Some people do get so involved in that world - whether it's Pern, LoTR or Harry Potter and so forth - that they use the lingo from that world. Guess Marks could be $'s and cents if that makes sense to you - pardon all puns.
