Very enjoyable, Brenda. You're right about the Xmassy one: the death does tend to detract from the overall effect of the piece.

Otherwise, well done. Keep an eye on the rhythm, especially as they're "meant" to be sung to a basic tune.

Brenda, please check my one of "Here, there be dragons". Go to the Search part and eventually it'll come up. It'll be something to add to the Pern songs and poems. I'm just not sure how to do it from here so that anyone can go from here to there without having to SEARCH for it. However, thanks for sharing yours with us so far. Keep them coming.

I finally read them, and love them!

You're right - most of the 'twiddles' Anne has in the books really need expansion.

Problem was, I needed to go all the way to page three to see them. I wanted to bump them up, but wasn't sure if you'd want them bumped, or if you want to just add them to your signature.

I want to do something about the Oldtimers coming ahead. Not Lessa's ride - that's about her. But the sacrifice the Oldtimers made to come forward. To go with the story I'm working on. I just haven't found a hook yet.
