Default Just one more Test...

And this semester at college is in the history books (or math books since that is what my test is in!) I will be taking the test on Friday 12/10 in the am .

If all goes well (and I'm sure it will) I should finish the semester with all A's!! I should know by next Thursday at this time!! (Keep your fingers and any other body parts you can managed crossed for me!!)

After tomorrow I will from exaustion and then for a week!!

You go girl!

I had a property inspection this morning and passed, despite the weeds springing up in the front and back (it's rained a week here). So I'll pass my baton of luck to you, in the hopes that you'll succeed.

Way to go!

When I was doing Classics, I would get High Distinctions on my coursework, but only passes due to exams -- I can't cope with them, since I'm not an examination person. Ah well.

ghyle I am the same way with exams. I got one grade back and it was a high C grade but my work in the course is so high that I really have to fail the other test to get anything other then an A so I'm not worried.

Of course, there are the exceptions, eh, Kater dear? When I was studying library practice I got 96% on my descriptive cataloguing exam, only getting that cause I messed up two examples. I was so excited, though, anyway.

Ok so far I've gotten grades in 4 of my classes and I have all A's so far (4 out of 5) I'm just waiting for my final math grade to come in. I should either have a low A or a high B!

I dont know what I'm going to get in my end of Semester exams next term.
I'll know how I did in Theoretical and numerical physics on Thursday-not sure if I want to though. Not sure examiner will be able to read my writing.
Got 78% in a basic algebra example sheet the other day-thats a 1st mark I think-pity they're not assessed. Still at least I seem to be improving in my example sheets now.
3 exams to go...
oh and I had the WEIRDEST Chaos, communications and conciousness exam including a "Rewrite and replace the incorrect words." now I know the module is for computer scientists as well as physysists (why did i choose something I couldnt spell) but honestly!
Hope I did well in that as its 25% and the 1st 25% section I only got 55% as the person I was working with had no idea what a poster was and handed me 2 and a bit sheets of solid text and a code square that was too big for the poster, and I was trying to keep him away from my flat-loooong story. 50% of the marks were presentation. At least I surfed the web for piccies of cryptographers.

On the other (British Politics) I got 65% - a mid 2:1

Not bad so far...

so? these are essays.

It is VERY rare to get an essay over 75%. And it IS impossible to get 100%.

At degree level.

No grades back yet, not due in til next week! :P Though, since the ones for my psych class are online, I might get it sooner.

And I have been known to get a 93 and a rare 100 on essays, so it can be done! My lowest this semester was between 75 and 80%. It's all in how you format and spellcheck, detailed, coherent explanations, documenting quotes, a clear thesis statement of more than one sentence - I go for at least two.
I don't know...maybe it's cause I'm an English major, and I pay attention to the notes my proffessors leave...if I screw up on a paper for one class, I fix that error on the next paper and the one for another class.

I got my theoretical and numerical physics exam results 66%!
v happy with that at the mo.
The average was 46% though 1 person got 9 and another 98%.
and i got full marks on a question most people apparantly struggled with!
and i relearnt the topic less than a week before the exam. after messing up a question totally.

not as good as 5 As but i'm happy.

I shall stick to my guns. They are not bad marks, but not as good as I know I can do.

Hey, least you can write without hating the result and being sure it's bad/dumb/not making any sense, etc. I get that all the time...even when there seems to be a direct correlation between how much I dislike the end result, how much time I spend dithering and editing and revising, and how high my grade is. The ones I worried the most over end up being the best. ::shakes head::

Don't get my grades til the 22nd! :P
