Default Three Wise Men

We three leaders of Planet Pern
Decades we've had our wisdom to learn;
One from a Hall, one from a Hold,
And one a dragon-man bold.

O-oh! Star of rubor, star so bright
Scattering threads our people to fright.
Beware of all greenery over the scenery
Thank goodness threads don't fall at night.

Harper am I, a teacher of men,
Fostering rumours (just now and then)
Playing them gently, preparing them ment'ly
For the changes they need with my pen.

O-oh! .....

Groghe am I, as gruff as my name.
Born to this Hold I now hold the same.
My people I'd steady to get this Hold ready
For threadfall whenever it came.

O-oh! .....

F'lar am I, Mnementh I fly;
We lead the Weyr high into the sky.
We'll twist and we'll turn, we'll sear and we'll burn
Until all of the threads will fry.

O-oh! Star of rubor, star so bright
Scattering threads our people to fright.
Beware of all greenery over the scenery
Thank goodness threads don't fall at night.

XDDD Ah, so cute! I imagined this sung in the style featured in "Claymation Christmas", all jazzy between the solemn parts. Imagining F'lar as the bass voice was especially amusing. But then, if dragons sound somewhat like their riders, and Mnementh's voice is described as "black and rich", then maybe it fits. ^n_n^

I, on the other hand, imagined it as accompanied by Tania & Mike!
