Default When it rains, it pours. Or, I just learned how to use the search button properly.

So, I was muddling around Deviantart, and somehow I came across some of the most excellent Talent fanart I've ever seen to date. Many of these were on the site years ago according to their dates, so I'm unsure how I managed to miss them before. Had to share, though, once I found them!

Damia, by Katheairene

Lyon-Dano Speculation by DeepChrome.

Isthia, by Katheairene

RDL by Katheairene (I want Damia's earrings!)

Gwyn-Ravens in Color by DeepChrome

Prime Yugi and Plr by Haruka-Shir (The Mrdini interests me)

Tower and the Hive Sketches by oddlead (The Mrdinis interest me here, too)

The only thing I mourn is that...nobody has done Afra, Jeff, or Gollee yet! At least, not that I've found. Are they nuts? Haha.

Definitely very interesting interpretations.

I found the Dini sketches very interesting too, and the first non-humanoid / bipedal representation that I've seen by any artwork.

Two points though, the trunk connected to the eyestalk would be much thicker than what's represented, and the tripedal appendage would be higher up on the body instead of at a bottom tail like level. Also the 3rd appendage would be more supportive and sport a truncated foot like structure or pad.

But that artist was definitely heading in the right direction.

Certainly the mrdini on the cover art was simply an error in translation by the original artist.

Deepchrome's 'Lyon-Dano' looks like a Manga version of the cover art.

GLad I"m not the only one who thought that one was manga influenced. Still, it's good art.
