Lanen...never fear, you and Kolmar could never disapoint the true fans. Its alive with all the characters that you have brought to us. They will tell you what needs to happen and when, just like the last time. Trust them and they will guide you my friend...so stop worrying its going to be fantastic, we all know it even if you don't....

One tiny questions...are the twins still around???

P'ter - I didn't think you were THAT old!

In my youth I was once accused of looking like a Pre-Raphaelite madonna by a director. Mind you, at that age (20) I had wavy light brown hair down to my waist... Never called Titian, though, not red enough. I've always envied the red heads.

Maelin, you lovely person - thanks. I promise I'll listen to Lanen and Co.

And heck yeah, the twins are around! Causing trouble, just like their mom.

Lanen: THAT OLD? What do you mean? Titian Andronica (sister to Titus) was my best friend at school.

Oh goodie, rubs hands.

Peeps, couldn't we start mailing Tor now and then to inquire whether there's a chance of a new book by Elizabeth Kerner...?

Not all at the same time/day, mind you!

Yep, I'd go with that but I'll wait until I finished all 3 books that I've got than I'll "hit 'em" with an email or 2. Than it spaces out with all the others that'll be sent to 'em.

for the publishers to take notice of.
Now lets just see who else will go and leave a mesage... and hopefully drum up some business for
our beloved Kolmar.

Lanen, you're a great friend and a marvelous person to know but I must admit asking for more of your books is not only to please you or do a friend a favour...

there's a huge amount of personal intrest and benefit in it for me (us)! Namely, a better chance of new Komar books

And if you do get the go-ahead, please do be prepared to hear your fans and friends asking those irritating questions, like "are you getting along?" and "are you finished yet?"

We'll might even go as far as employing our very own undercover secret agent SB (accidentally a fan too, so firmly on our side) and inquire whether you are putting enough time in

Whoa, Elizabeth Kerner is a member of this site?! Wow! How many other favorite authors lurk on this forum?

I loved the entire trilogy! I read it in high school and was hooked. Such a unique view on dragons and the romance was so sweet, I was actually jealous ^_^ And the third book made me cry! Very few books have made me tear up but I wasnt given time to cry for long. I cried for about a page and then we were right back into the action and I wasnt given time to wallow in my sorrow for too long.

And, though I am a bit embarassed to admit it now, I used a monologue from 'Song In The Silence' for my Acting class in high school. I think I still even remember bits of it! Let me see... I meant never to tell you! I thought it was nothing more than my own feelings. I would come to you and you would call me little one, littling, so I would realize how impossible this would all be. And there you stand, talking of love, as though we were one kindred. That was the beginning and then I always loved the ending. May the Lady help me. May she help us both. Please Akor, say something. Speak to me.

I got an A so my teacher thought I did it justice. I hope anyone else who saw it would agree =3

There's going to be a fourth book? Oh, I hope so! That would make my day! Next chance I get, Ill join the efforts and write to the publisher begging for a fourth book. Ill tell them the series needs to be a nice even number

*has a sudden desire to reread the trilogy*

Litwolf, you have made my day - well, ok, my night, but you know what I mean.

I am ridiculously honoured. You used that speech of Lanen's for an acting class! Wow! I am so chuffed. Thank you for letting me know! Gosh. AND you got an A. Wheee! It astounds me that something I wrote has affected someone's life, even to that extent. Thank you.

And you go for it, Jube. It gets better later, honest.

Hans, I see what you mean. Sigh. Alas, human nature! What one thinks of as altruism so often turns out to be self-interest in ! Or possibly just a good pal being very kind.

Though if you think SB is on your side, I got news for you... er... unless he is... sneaky soul that he is, I'm going to hedge my bets. OK, sweetie, no more brownies for you if you help out Hans!

Blackmail? You betcha!

Glad I got someone off their backside even if it was my own and/or Hans' to start something up.

I have now officially finished book 1. Although I haven't read book 2 or 3 yet to see if they answer this question but.....

Why did Ahkor change from dragon to human form of Varien? Thought it was a little weird from both dragon and human perspectives, that's all!

N.B.
I realise that there is a book discussion thread elsewhere but this is pertaining to this particular thread so all book discussions for Elizabeth Kerner's books, fandom etc can remain here (strictly in this thread, of course ).

Jube...I'd love to tell you...but you really need to read the next two and find out.

Litwolf...well all of us MoMer's, that were in Copenhagen at the time...got to hear ELizabeth read part of her book to us. We all went and met in Copenhagen, so that we could all go to Eurocon together and see Anne again. We were all amazingly lucky to be able to spend such wonderful time, with two such incredible authors. You should go and have a look at the photos from that trip...somewhere in the archives here on MoM. There are loads of photos of Elizabeth and her husband Steven there...as well as Anne, and the rest of us..their friends and fans.

Default Re: Who is Elizabeth Kerner?

Thanks P'ter, I'm not sure about the Willet thread on NKT. It sounds rather ominious!

Willet = WLT = World's longest Thread (attempted)

They have ones like 'Rate the Avatar above You'. Or even 'Rate the Avatar below you (when it hasn't even been posted yet)'!

Excuse you, wench. Tart yourself !

And P'ter, Jube says she doesn't get much onto NKT. For some reason, she prefers here more then NKT. Don't know why? They both amount to the same thing - Anne McCaffrey. Why did I pick a woman who's so picky about it?

Is a small scifi con the same as a large on the same subject? No! They have different attendees, a different culture, and different side conversations and topics. Some people will like both, but some will have a distinct preference for one over the other.
