Spacedog has got to the point, "okay whatever makes you happy".
![]() ![]() Next question: Who is Elizabeth Kerner? Never read any of her books and looking for something new to read, so are they any good?

I totally endorse what Becky said and if you like fantasy and a totally new look on dragons (and THAt is not easy to do in literature!) you can't do without Elizabeth Kerner!
It's just VERY frustrating there are only three books... yet... But the are good, they are VERY good and Becky and I certainly will not be the only ones recommending them ![]() Becky already gave away that the author is a member here, so with that you also know that she is married to another highly valued MoM member name StevenB ![]()

Okidoki as you would say Hans. It was a momentarily lapse of concentration, should of realised, having a blonde moment
![]() ![]() I think I asked at the time because I've ran out of things to read for the moment and wanted other opinions (no offense to Lanen if that's the case) as to what was on offer in the big, wide world of books. Something that was new and different to what I normally read. That and get Catherine Cookson's autobiography out of my head ![]() P.S, Sorry Lanen, I didn't realise/connect who you were in real life, shall now endeavour to go find a book or 2 or 3 but at least, for those of us (like me, hehe), you now have our attention for wanting to go out and buy some new books. Thanks Becky and Hans for pointing me in the right direction.

In a special version, P'ter? There should be enough copies to be bought through eBay.

P'ter, Jube says that you can get them through ebay as the bookstore, she brought from, had them individually and as a set of 3. She decided to get all 3 in one hit as it was cheaper, p/h wise then getting 1 by 1. She says hi and appologises to Lanen for having a blonde moment - Jube did not have a good week, this week. She wants a new air con for the rest of the house. Told her, she has to save up for it.

She already went to the electrical shop yesterday, found it was $2500 to $3000 for said model and installation and went "yep, no problem-o". Minor problem, I know she hasn't got that much saved up yet

Hiya folks - and thank you for all the VERY kind comments! Hope you're enjoying Song in the Silence, Jube, and please don't feel required to say something nice. My work is not to everyone's taste.
![]() As for No. 4 - well, I'm taking today, Valentine's Day, off to spend with my darling husband Steven B, and tomorrow I'm back at the computer. (Or possibly Monday. Tuesday at the latest ![]() Though I have to say, No. 4 is going in directions that NONE of us expected! ![]() ![]() Thanks for the thread, folks, it does cheer me up. Happy Valentine's Day everybody! ![]() Lanen (though perhaps not *quite* as tall as in the book...)

That's okay, Lanen. I'm procrastinating at moment, due to re-reading the Petaybee series. My appologies for not making the connection between the RL you and your MoM at the time. I usually try to keep up to date with things but obviously I was having a "blonde" moment

Jube...I know that you have had a great deal of the MoMers here tell you who Elizabeth Kerner is and what she does. Well I am here to add my name to the list of great admirers of her as well as her stories.
Her books are fantastic... grand adventures full of incredibly beautiful dragons, and wonderfully brave people that you will be happy to join on their Quest...not to mention some overwhelmingly evil villians. Like becky said, I also don't read to many other authors anymore, but after the first few pages, I knew that I had been directed to something very special. I now have all three of her books [HC's and pb's] all signed expecially to me. and am extremely happy to have been able to meet, and enjoy Elizabeth and Steven's company for our short time in Copenhagen. A trip and memory to last a life time ![]() I can hardly wait to read the 4th book ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
