Umm, here goes....

PS Would like the place where this was taken ~ the only hint will be from the photo itself. Jube said it would be better off in the thematic section but I want to try here first.

Is it one of those photographic studios where they dress you up and photograph you against a suitable background?

And is it you and Jube and *** infant?

Right, Sydney?

Yes it is a family portrait of the 3 of us - I dislike having a photo taken of myself in this type of situation.

Yes it is in one of those studios that does the la-di-duh thing.

No to Sydney.

For Hans and P'ter, I will say:

YES to western half of Victoria and NO to northern half of Victoria but there's no boundaries set in regards to either question so you may need to re-phrase said questions.

Greenrider Tresa, you get a very definite YES to your question.

Spacedog, I am using this website as reference and help: http://www.australianexplorer.com/to...s_victoria.htm

Looking at the map on this page, would the location we search for be in the area designated as West?

Interesting how that map reads. I always thought that we lived in north east Victoria but according to the map, it's north. *shrugs shoulders* Go figure!

North west (Mildura area) would be correct as would South west (Warrnambool). Central is usually Melbourne/Geelong/Dandenongs area. Western district would be the other side of the Grampians. Hmm, not sure about the rest...Oh well, just making a statement ~ one learns something new everyday.

Anything to do with the Eureka Uprising in 1854, the only armed civil uprising in Australia? And do you represent gold miners?

It is at Sovereign Hill so YES to that and I guess we were representing a miner and his family so YES to that too.

Okay now that I've had to time to look properly, I may have made a mistake with Greenrider Tresa's question, it could be termed as a YES but when I opened up your link, Hans, it just states attractions according to town, example Abbotsford's attractions, Albert Park's attractions, Anglesea's attractions etc... One has to click on the town to get the answer so I gave her a NO as a result because of that reason and I was also in a hurry to get to work at the time. Hope you understand my reasoning as to why I gave her a NO. YES it is listed when clicked on the town but not when you open up that first page. Bit of a tricky question to answer when one first opens it up and that's all you've got to go by at first glance.

He's now officially 12 years old. In regards to the gun, it's an imitation one. Trust me, if there was a real one, he would not have had it In some respects, 150 years ago, teenagers would have needed a gun, probably more so then they do now ~ mainly hunting rabbits etc, I guess. It'd be the same in the USA, Europe or even NZ.

Just worked out what you and hubby were discussing about with the webpage One could definitely look at that in several ways.
