Bringing a bit of the weyr to Second Life
For anyone out there who knows of Second Life, we're building a weyr for our dragons on the sim The Celestial Realm.
For fun, we're creating our own threadfall that causes damage to our avatars and can be destroyed by our dragon's fire (of course). I would so love to hear how you picture thread looking to help us really capture that detail, which could be quotes or just your personal mind's eye view

Translucent, whitish. No defined head or tail. Long strands, perhaps resembling an almost-transparent tapeworm-type thing. Find a burrow on the ground and it looks like a pile of near-tansparent hookworms or roundworms.
Jellyfish tentacles.
