Default A idea triger via another thread, did the Healers find out what triger "FireHead"?

Just drop in for a bit, I was just a thinking, that with the finding of AVAS, and the related work, did the healer find out any more about "FireHead"?

Something about yellowish beaches, and get it along the Southern Coast's Beachs?

Well outside of medication which was talked about in RoP-Renegades of Pern, my copied had got to bits, for I had read too much, and have not had time to find another one. Updated-Got a Hardcover thanks to Dragon Buddie

Print Size being another thing too. The paperbacks are hard to see, sometime even the
online or audio copied either.

It doesn't occur in the Northern continent, but in the South people are warned to stay away from beaches in springtime, especially if they have a yellowish tinge.

Makes me wonder if it's some kind of fungus or algae allergy.

(Hehe, algae allergy... say that three times fast!)

That that that...

Something that presumably washes up on the beaches at certain times of year in Southern, or stains them yellow another way. I'm guessing a local bacterial bloom associated with algae... perhaps airborne once the sun gets to work drying it out?

I hope people don't mind me add on a idea here, which came while posting, the sea thorn from Dophins of Pern, I was think were in water that one came from! And if the dolphins which 'seen' it may know more story idea maybe, but not right now!

Just add more to think about as it related down there

It's been awhile since I've read The White Dragon, and I don't remember all the details described in it. Once again, I can't get my copy of the book at the moment because doing so would wake up one of my younger siblings, and she would not be happy with me if I did. I will have to make a mental note to take it out tomorrow morning and look through it.

The part that I do remember was during Jaxom's recovery, when he had to have his eyes covered for a period of time. I also remember that if a person isn't careful during the recovery, they could have a relapse.

High fever

Those are the ones I remember reading about.

Could it be a form of Menengitis, or something close to it?

Early symptoms are similar to a head cold - Jaxom's case was exacerbated by going between.

I thought of it as PERN's equivalent to Malaria.

I was going to say headcolds aren't deadly, they just feel like you'er dying.(Had one before, don't wish to repeat it.) Now malaria left intreated could kill someone.
