My present this year

Guess what I got this year? It's a " Uncorrected Proof for Limited Distribution" of Freedoms's Challenge. Inside the cover the first page says that: These are uncorrected advance proofs bound for your reviewing convenience.

I was so shocked! I didn't think the hubby had it in him!?

I'd appreciate anyones opinion on this. On the back all the way down at the bottom it says that it's not for sale. But hubby found it in a used book store that was having a moving sale. So far, I havn't seen any difference. But, I'll keep reading. Ya never know.

What a great hubby!

Uncorrected proofs and advanced reader copies (ARCs) are often sold; maybe they're not supposed to be but as long as the sale doesn't preceed the actual book release I don't think publishers worry much about it.

As an uncorrected proof, there shouldn't be much in the way of obvious differences; as far as I understand it they're just for typo spotting and correcting.

I am on the lookout for review copies of Anne books, from the place that I review books for. Of course.
