Those people must be terrifically out of touch. I remember seeing things about those little lizards quite a while ago. They can actually glide for short distances like a sugar glider or flying squirrel. There are actually two different lizards, Draco Sumatranus (the one in the article) and Draco Volans. The former is thought to be a subspecies of the latter.

Well I never!!!!! in the far Past they were bigger hence !! the legends
of Dragons
When I was in China we visit a very old Village it was in the time when we were just coming down from the trees ,and there was a opened Grave of a Warrior
and each side of him was two Dragons done in White Stones but the worst part was the camera was dropped gone all the photos I took so you never know
prehaps back then .

I think the point was that it was a new variety - there is mention that it may be related to one of the other species. The headline was misleading.

I remember the colors and everything. Now, Draco Volans, which is supposed to be the more common variety, I don't remember seeing before.
