In another thread it was suggested that a list of magazines with articles by Anne or interviews with Anne would be appreciated. I happen to have a list of the magazines that I own and so am posting them here.

Well. It does and it doesn't. Mind, I have most all of those listed. But I don't collect all of the short stories, just articles about Anne or interviews with Anne. Unless the short story is Pern. Anyway. I'll try to make a list of the magazines I have with Anne interviews or Anne articles. There are a lot more than this.

JJ - please do add to the list!!! If there are more things out there then I want to know too!!!
![]() I like the short stories in these magazines because that's usually the first printing of a story, before they appear in an anthology. Maelin - Most of what I've got listed are in the Collector's Guide too, but there are some more recent things since it was published in 1999. ![]()

Ah, Hans! Thanks for adding those mags! I do have most of them and forgot that they are in a different section of my collection listing. Always good to have someone else's input for sure! We'll have to compile the list together and I will volunteer, since I've got my database with just about all of them anyway. I just have to put them together.

It would make a great addition to your book Becky (by the way I received them and thanking you for posting them). Would you be a darling, when all items come in, compile and then have it as an appendice to your book so the little darlings like me who are just working out what we should be looking for, know what we're looking for? PLEASE!! I don't have any of these magazines et al so I, for one, would like to know what I'm looking for. PLEASE BECKY, HANS and everyone who has something to add, to help the little darlings out

Ok, well now the list looks a bit better. I will have to compare it to mine to see what else I can add to it. Bearing in mind, I have added several more, and those are at home. And as I have stated before, I am not at home, so sorting thru each magazine is out of the question.

I just added the Luna that Hans found to the list and thought that I'd stick this thread so that it won't get lost. That way it will be handy for reference.

Question:
Articles and interviews, but you also added pulps and magazines with short stories... so, shall we add that or put those mags/pulps in another section?

Becky, do you have pics or more details about
Enterprise Incident 1984 April "ROMANCE AND GLAMOUR IN SF" I don't know it but it seems like a reprint of an article that appeared in a book?

Ah, my boo boo....... there's a small blurb that says...."Anne McCaffrey is writing the screenplay for a proposed animated adaptation of one of her Dragonrider novels". That's all that's in this magazine. It starts a section called News from Earth.
Going to go fix that right now. Not sure how I found this. It's probably in Hargreaves. ![]()

Oh, this is awesome! I wonder why I've not really looked in on this Thread before...I've started to train my collecting efforts towards Anthologies and Magazines, so this will be of a lot of help to me. Thanks for taking the time to do this, guys!

I think I found a magazine with an interview that was unknown to me until I found the magazine on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...=STRK:MEWNX:IT)
It's Critical Wave. A British magazine of June 1991 and this is the description: This is issue 22 of Critical Wave Magazine, June 1991; among the items featured are an interview with Anne McCaffrey 'Here there be dragons', an article on Philip K Dick 'Only apparently Unreal' and comprises 32 pages in total. It is in good condition. I will, of course post pictures and further data after I have received it (just paid for it). I also recently bought a magazine in Canada titled "American Fantasy" on the basis of the description: Vol.2 #5 - Winter 1988 - J.K.Potter cover - Robert McCammon interview, C.J.Cherryh, plus an Illustrated Guide to Pern. I am expecting it to be an article or review of Jody Lynn Nye's "Dragonlover's Guide" but am ready to be pleasantly surprised, too ![]() News about this will take a little longer as it is being sent to Cheryl and from her to me.

JJ, no, neither are fanzines I think.
The subtitle for Critical Wave is: The European Science Fiction and Fantasy Review. I must admit though that the black and white magazine doesn't look very professional, But then, it's from 1991.

American Fantasy is a magazine with a review of The Illustrated Guide to Pern, title of which was changed to the Dragonlover's Guide to Pern.
![]() Can't wait to see what Critical Wave looks like and is about! ![]()
