Default London Book-stall

I went to a family 'do' in London yesterday @ the RAF Club in Piccadilly.

Having arrived in very good time, I was very pleased to find a pavement stall selling secondhand books (and 'genuine' US $1,000,000 bills @ 4 for £5 which is a pretty fair exchange rate!). They had some nice books but no SF.

I was lucky to catch them between customers ....

No: but I did buy one called 'Auntie Robbo' for the G'kids.

I also bought a copy of the Pentateuch in black country dialect!

Well, since they let you take a picture of them they probably aren't too dodgy. Did you stay to see who won the game?

Don't laugh Lyn: the way the dollar is going $1,000,000 aren't too unlikely.

Look at what happened in Germany in the thirties! They had 1,000,000DM STAMPS!!

The dollar has actualy been gaining ground a little bit (against the euro) and with what's happening globally hat's a surprise.

It was my younger sister's Silver Wedding do.

It was only posh in terms of there being a dress code. The food (and drink) were very ordinary.
