Info: Automated Forum Email not working - account activation, etc - A Meeting of Minds

It seems that the automated emails from the forum are not going out. This affects things like the activation of new account, thread subscriptions, and sending messages through the "contact us" link.

If you are a new member and want your account activated, just drop me an email from the address you used to register and I'll take care of it.

Or, if you just have a question/issue to contact me, send an email directly.

Email is fixed! Hooray for my husband!

Anyone with a thread subscription should now start receiving them again, along with email notices of PMs (if you signed up for that option), and new users should get their activation emails now.

That's what tipped me off to Kendall having succeeding with fixing it last night finally, and then I did a secondary test to make sure!

I have not been get them from here for the last few days, only way to check in to log in and read, that why I've miss a couple I was keeping an eye on.

My only problem is that loading all the threads and then replying to them is slow. Yes I do have broadband and No I haven't had trouble elsewhere. Just curious.....

Oh yeah, I think the automated email is down again. I know my husband's been working on our mail server, and I bet the settings have changed enough that forum email broke again. I need to bug him about it!
