![]() 101-0146_IMG by blondmom989, on Flickr Tram going down from The Great Wall in China to a parking lot. We got lost on the great wall. It's a good thing we had a chinese speaking guide and a driver down below and a cell phone to call him and tell him where we were, because we ended up in a different parking lot. ![]() 122-2295_IMGs by blondmom989, on Flickr |

Orange delight for this littel wasp (?)
![]() The Scarlet Ibis (Eudocimus ruber, rode ibis) is more orange than red to me! It is a species of ibis that inhabits tropical South America and also Trinidad and Tobago. It is the national bird of Trinidad and is featured on the Trinidad and Tobago coat of arms along with Tobago's national bird, the Rufous-vented Chachalaca (photo taken at Blijdorp Zoo, Rotterdam). ![]()

Fabolous pictures, P'ter, both in their respective ways. Just one question, did you forget the closeup setting in the first pic? I think it's a wonderful idea and concept and nicely executed but alas, unsharp

I took it using the macro setting an it looked fine in the playback. It wasn't till I editied it in Photobucket that I spotted the fault.
I'll retake it over the weekend. DONE! ![]()

I've been too lazy to log in and comment on the orange photos. Hans your birds are something I've never seen before. Pter's orange is orange and the sunset is lovely. And Pam's butterfly is a lovely shade.

Oh wow! Red mountain creek. Pam, yet again one of your pictures has shown me a place I would love to visit.
P'ter, I love the still life.
