Two weeks ago me and my husband went to Stuttgart Zoo.
It was a beautiful day. There are 135 pics in the set.

We are moving in the middle of January next year. I've heard that Rotterdam Zoo should be quite nice.

It is a bit tricky taking pics of the birds on account of the fine meshed cages. The trick is to get your camera up close to the mesh and have a camera with a good optical zoom.

One of the pics is of a sign that was hanging at the snow leopards cage. It said that the snow leopard cub could fit through the cage and you shouldn't be alarmed if you saw it exploring 'cause it could find his way home, and if you leave it alone it would also leave you alone.

I would dearly have loved to see a cute wittle snow leaopard out and about exploring the zoo.

Those are some nice animal pics.

I know I have a bunch of animal pics from a couple of family trips to the National Zoo, but I think they are all pre-digital photography.

It would require some mass amounts of digging and effort to find them, plus I'd have to scan them into the computer.

Something, that I don't have time to do right now

Hans, that vulture like bird is beautiful. I really like the close up.

It's looking you straight in the eyes.

Linda, it looks like San Diego Zoo is a wonderful zoo with enough space for the animals. I don't think I've ever been to that zoo, but the next time in the neighbourhood, I'll make sure to go to that zoo.

Can you spot the owl in this picture?

Ane, Please if you ever get over to this part of the world...let us know... we would be very happy to meet up with you and your husband again, and enjoy the Zoo with you both. We love San Diego and go there with the smallest excuse.

Yes the Zoo is very large, and all the animals that live there seem to have a decent amount of room to live and play.
They also have a Wild Animal Park in San Diego...where there are no cages...where the animals that are there roam free like in the wild...on a huge amount of park land....you just drive through it with your car window rolled up...the animals can get very curious about us humans too...
