My inner astronomer will look the other way while my inner cat lover reads the book.

We showed the book to Midnight, who investigated...

...and she approved!

It is his picture! It's also Cisco's picture! I don't know why they arbitrarily decided to make our Maine-Coony Barque Cats short hairs but maybe they figured there was a larger short-haired black cat demographic they had to appeal to.

Kinda reminde me of Reggie, who has black on top with white showing in his undercoat. Yellow eyed and all.

Perhaps a cross breed, and the short hair might be easier in the hot weather, or not get clogged up the air vents?

Midnight is a she. I guess sniffing the pages is her way of reading the book, although she's picking up an entirely different story.

ROLF, I've found that they like to paw books or sit in the middle of what trying to read, I had Smokey eyeing what I was reading both, he don't meow loud, but he like what he see.

OH LORD...I can't believe this, but I just got around to bying the first one of this series, and now I find that the second one is already out...UGG!
Well at least I won't have to wait for it, I can just go out now and get it and read them back to back.
I do have a decent excuse, as I have been very busy this last year, what with buying our new/older home, moving and getting settled in...now I get to get back to the more enjoyable parts of life...READING like crazy...and what better reading than a new double treat from Anne and Annie...Thanks Ladies I know there both going to be wonderful.

Oh No...Annie, I've just been unbelievably slow in getting this one...we bought a house and moved and my mind (what there is left of it) has been on other things or I would have had it ages ago.

I'll be much quicker getting this second one...along with the audio versions, I promise.

I'm thrilled that you and Anne decided to have a go again in the talent universe...and with this subject especially. I dearly hope there will be a third one too...

This really isn't in that universe, Maelin. It takes place quite a bit earlier in history, during the ancestral past of the Barque Cats that even the Rowan didn't know about. We couldn't set it in the Talent world because that was all with another publisher but we both wanted to write about cats in space so here they are.

Thank you kindly Annie, I do understand, it's just that for me, I will always consider them as part of the *Talent* world, since thats where I first read about them...sooooo many years ago now.

Going back in their history is such a marvelous idea, and a great way to be able to continue writing about them...I really want to applaud you and Anne for thinking of it.

That kind of writing to a fan, only makes the world their reading about, seem more complete and real, as it has so much more dimention to it.

Thank you most heartily, again for all your continuing efforts in giving us new worlds and exciting adventure to enjoy, as I for one do plan to enjoy them for the rest of my life.

That what I'm trying to say in how many worlds Anne and/or her co-writers have written in.

Well Smokey and Reggie have their own way of talking, Smokey uses his tail, and paws, along with his head to talk with us, Smokey meow is soft, or he open his mouth and nothing come out. Reggie is talking by streching out and looking me in the eyes with his yellow ones, they say 'hi' to 'Teddy' too.
