Default Happy Birthday L'isa!

I wish you a most happy birthday, Lisa. Not easy to have one in such a "difficult" time of the year. You're having a nice round figure (like I did a mere week ago) and I wish you a day at least as wnderful as mine has been!

Happy birthday and many more returns in health and happiness!

Thank you, thank you to all.

Actually Master Maelin, you can add another 5 to that. I am proud to be a double nickel. I have worked hard for every gray hair on my head. hehe

We are having a party on New Years Day. That is the normal day for it (for us at least). Right now, we are going out to eat at one of my favorite restaurants. There will be twelve of us. Cajun food. Yummy, deep fried jalapeños.

The Rowan is my favourite!

"The name rowan is believed to derive from the Norse runa - "a charm". It was often planted outside houses to ward off witches. On May Day a spray of rowan leaves was hung over doors to repel evil, and wells dressed with rowan to keep witches away. The rowan, or mountain ash, is found commonly in Scotland, sometimes clinging to a rock face."

Happy birthday, L'isa, hope it was a smash!
(Not alike an accident or else a buggy crash,
or like a ship too close to shore,
or hole in door,
but like a happy party,
of which you would want more....)

Hans, 30 whew ...that would make you very wise indeed and perhaps we should make you our leader...as you would have more grey hair experience than the rest of us.

P.S But you don't even have any of the wrinkles, that usually go with grey hair...that just doesn't seem quite fair

Re: Happy Birthday L'isa!

Thanks to all for the wishes. Yep dinner was wonderful. The gray hair, hmmm. Had some for quite awhile. My hubby (who is 6 years my junior) has a head of almost white hair now. He has had gray since in his 30's. People ask about him robbing the cradle, but I have to confess to them that it was I who did the cradle robbing.
