Default Quote at beginning of the Skies of Pern.

I've been wondering for the past while where the quote at the beginning of the Skies of Pern is from:

Ours not to ponder what were fair in Life
But, finding what may be,
Makeit fair up to our means

Any help would be appreciated.

It's an excerpt from a peom by Robert Browning called Bishop Blougram's Apology.

I like the line (and a half) ...

Quote:

That quote (the first one, not P'ter's) was first mentioned in DE/RSR, when they were scrambling to figure out how they would be able to get by with the loss of what technology they still had.
