You know my opion on Easton, but there are still some very god books among this collection of this seller with more money than sense
I don't think he'll succeed in selling thuis though; this is typically something you built up over years, not buying/selling in a batch...

Here you are, buying hundreds of beautifully bound leather books and STILL your shelves look like a colourful shambles

I've been watching this to see if anyone actually will bid on them. That's a LOT of money! Not to mention the $900 for shipping! Ouch! I guess if you think you need signed copies of Easton then this would be a good way to get them, but not too many folks have that sort of spare change lying around.
Maelin, you're right about that lottery ticket!

Dang! If I had a collection like that (although I admit, I know little about Easton) I would never be able to give it up. I have trouble enough with my beanie babies!

I laughed until I had tears and ran out of breath. This person is going to be waiting a very long time I think...for someone with this kind of money to spend all in one lump....perhaps a lottery winner who has always wanted a Easton Book Collection.

Only if I was the sole winner of a HUGE lottery would I even consider buying this. But then I'd only want Anne's books so that would be a total waste of money to have to buy the rest. So I'd pass, I think, even if I had the money to buy.

I dont understand why the seller would use ebay to sell something like this... Surely a book auction would be a smarter way to part with a collection worth this much!!!

Dunno, but maybe the fees for eBay are less than an auction house? Or maybe they thought they'd reach more people by going 'public' on eBay. Hard to say.

Bloody hell! How on earth would that seller think that anyone would spend that much in one go?! Ridiculous!
