Blue MonkeyArt

Looked at some of your wonderful art and writing, and decided to post some of my own.

I'll start with some Pern stuff.

Lizard Bath
Sled! look out!
Green dragon (looks kinda young)
Look familiar?

Enjoy.

I think the sculpture is lovely, too! You do know that there's a pewter pin of that particular drawing? I received one when I walked the tables and became a Master Harper Archivist Yes, all very official.

Here's a pic of it:

Funny you should ask!

A couple months ago I made one for Crispy in a deal with Jax and Platinum. He just received it in the mail today (since it's a birthday surprise) so I can post it now.

Monkeysrule, that is very nice. Is it in clay of some other sculpting material ? Is it glazed or painted ? How long did it take you to do ? I put up some sculpture on my site also, just not dragons.

You are an awesome friend, Monkey!

As for the firelizards pin, it's possible they are still available... If you're really interested, check out the information I have posted here: http://pern.srellim.org/fl_pin.htm
(and if you do pursue it, let me know if that info is still any good!)

It's Sculpey, a polymer clay, and painted with metallic acrylics. I glazed it with an acrylic gloss medium.

Can you link to your site? I'm very interested in seeing your sculpture.

I just finished my very first Dragonchoice fanart. It's like the first person I've ever drawn that looks somewhat decent.

Beautiful pics! Especially that transparent effect on the green dragon...

And that last picture is completely decent.
