The Lady in the Loch and The Harem of Aman Akbar - A Meeting of Minds

For those of you who did not blink fast enough to miss seeing these solo titles of mine on the racks when they came out, I have just put Lady in the Loch (with which Lanen is intimately familiar) and The Harem of Aman Akbar on Kindle as e-books. And they're supposed to be available in the UK too, though I don't know about NZ and Auz.
I am working on my entire backlist. See, I am laboring under the premise that they are actually good and worthwhile books that were thoughtlessly neglected by their publishers. Now I am burning my twitchy eyes out of their sockets to make these available in perpetuity or until someone comes up with some other techy thing that makes all this work obsolete again.
So if you missed them the first time around and you have a Kindle, buy them now--cheeeeeeeeep.
I am also getting them put up on Smashwords in other formats and working very slowly but surely on the rest of my backlist. Two and a half down, fourteen and a half to go!

Thanks, Hans. It's about a week's work to try to preserve something that took from 6 months to a year to create.

Sort of.

Made a 'go-kart' out of an old pram in an afternoon and then spent about a day a weekend a month trying to keep it in one piece.

It lasted around two years.

Two years sounds pretty good, considering the source material and the hard use go-karts get

Well, I'm thrilled anyway. Both of them are up on Amazon today and a friend who is a small indie publisher put them up on Smashwords for me too so that ought to get them into Barnes and Noble and such too. The advantage for me of e-books is that I actually get paid for them whereas I don't, as you have often heard me whine before, for used books. Now I must go create a cover. . .hmmmmm, dragons who look like gila monsters. . .

I tried to open another thread about these but I wanted you all to know I now have converted all of the SONGS FROM THE SEASHELL ARCHIVES, my first series, into e-book format. CHRISTENING QUEST, the last book in the series, should be available in a number of formats on Smashwords and also on Kindle in a couple of days. SONG OF SORCERY is already out from e-Reads, and I have previously published in e-book format THE UNICORN CREED and BRONWYN'S BANE.

Cool. Ann-Marie. It's selling pretty well so far on Kindle--they all seem to be actually. I've made almost enough to pay the water bill and the power bill both, between Kindle and Smashwords!

Just put up Phantom Banjo on Kindle too but I need to fix it--the version I put up last night had some chapter headings missing. Cool cover though--this time my friend Karen Gillmore, who's an artist and a musician, painted it and I think she really got it.

Elizabeth, Lea culls the used ones from Powell's for me to give as reading copies. All you had to do was mention and I'd have sent them to you. But it's been really fun reading through the earlier ones. I'm pleased with how good they are.

Well, I no longer HAVE to have the kindle. I picked up LADY OF THE LOCH at a garage sale.

Eann, you managed to give me nightmares! LOL Especially with Seamus showing up when I thought Midge was safe. EEKS!
