Default Lord Holder Brian and Tori

This is Lord Holder Brian, and his gold firelizard Tori.

This is MoM member Pernese Phoenix I hope that you all enjoy this one as much as I did drawing it. I was working on the ideas for this ones while I was sitting at the court house during my jury duty...some of my fellow jurors really enjoyed watching me do this. Thanks for being so patient Brian!!!

Quite handsome figure. He has the look of a Lord, if that makes any sense.

Well aren't you a handsome Holder Phoenix? Had any Hold Gals throw themeselves at you yet?

And I absolutely love how Tori is draped around his neck like that Maelin! Gorgeous! As usual.

Wonderful! Nice to see a Lord Holder; I like his clothes, they seem just right for the job (and I really like the texture of the red vest). The banner in the background is a nice touch as well, and nicely different from previous portraits!

Another wonderful portrait and I agree with granath (nice to see a guy's portrait again). Love the vest but my eye was immeditely drawn to the Dragon Banner (sorry Phoenix).

I guess the Lord Holder wants to be conveyed to a Hatching, that he's flying it?

Wonderfully done, Maelin! And the way the firelizard is sprawling... that is new I think and very fitting.

Thank you all for your very kind and lovely compliments...I really enjoyed working on this portrait...I wanted it to be somewhat different since Brian chose to be a Lord Holder...hadn't had a request for one of those before this.

I am glad that you all seem to like the new Firelizard pose. Since I know that Anne fashioned them somewhat from cats and their somewhat odd behavior at times...I decided to try the pose that my cat loves...the fur collar pose...LOL. It really did seem to suit the hautiness of a Lord Holder.

@Cheryl, actually the vest looks a bit better in real life that it does after being translated onto the computer screen. I ended up kind of wishing that I had one of them myself.

Lord Holder Brian, is in truth and in real life... a very handsome young man...(he didn't need any of my embelishments) and I am sure that many a lovely hold lass will have taken notice of him...even if he hasn't realize it ...YET!!!

Aww you all are gonna make me blush . Lol, that and of course make me even slightly more narcisistic than I already am. But my good looks aside Lady Maelin does a really fine job with her portraits.

And now that I have calmed down enough to speak, or rather type, complete sentences...

I love the pendant, its such a nice blood red ruby, and the dragon makes it all the more perfedt. and I agree that the vest came out rather nicely. And Tori is draped rather regally, isnt she? kind of like how my old ferret used to sit sometimes. It's so nice...everytime I see it I smile a little and clap my hands . lol

@Brian, The pendant stone is actually made to look like the red planet with swirling dark red and orange colors...but on here you can't really see it. I am so tickled at how you like your portriat so much...and thank you for your lovely compliments...you are very welcome...it was truely my pleasure.

Another triumph for Maelin! Brian you have every right to do a happy dance and clap your hands whenever you see this portrait. It's wonderful! We've had some very intricate portraits from Maelin recently and it's rather nice to see a simple one. I say simple meaning not much going on in the background, because that vest was no simple feat nor the chain links in the pendant or pendant itself! I love the detail of the ridges on Tori's tail too.
Great work on a great subject. Enjoy Brian!

Jax, It is only the member portraits that are coming to an end... sorry... I still will still be drawing portraits and putting them up from time to time...the work goes on as you will soon see.
How could I let all my wonderful MoM friends and admirers down. You all have been so wonderful with your compliments and encouragements.
