Default Vanishing Act.

How different could things have been in the first Doona book if they Hrrubans hadn't kept vanishing every time someone from Earth came to visit? Things may have been better but then they could very well have turned out tragically given the attitude Landreau had.
If he was capable of murder on his own people he certainly wouldn't have hesitated to harm the 'Cats'
