Angry Good Grief! The Price of Two More Years of Publishing!

$180 for Two More Years of Publishing by Hargreaves! I can't believe how expensive this paperback book is!!! I hadn’t checked bookfinder.com for a while, so today while my little one was napping, I got online to look for 40 Years and Two More Years. Wow-wee wow wow! Maybe after the holidays I'll have time to shop some more for them and save up for them! I'm not paying 180 though!

That is ridiculous, that is an overly optimistic seller! It is definitely not worth that much, even if it is harder to find than the 40 Years book.

10-25 is more in my price range! I've never seen it on ebay. I'll have to check more often! Thanks for the tip!

Never said it wasn't rare

Actually found it so hard to acquire that I asked Anne herself if I could buy one of the five copies she had in her attic

As far as I remember, there were a lot less than the original hardcover run. Mostly, they were made to help sell out the rest of the hardcovers at the Canadian convention she was at. Unless there is a limitation statement in the volume (mine is not in hand), then the run might be 125-150 copies. I just do not remember. Alan Newcomber in Oregon did the print run on them. I will try to remember to ask him one of these days.

Well if there is only 125-150 editions of this little publication...then you can expect the prices to go up, up, up... as each of them find good homes. I would hasard to say that there are quite a few more AMC collector/fans, than there are the amount of editions published. So someone might just get desparate enough to pay those kinds of prices...especially if it's one of the last pieces to finish their collection.

Nice to see you back with more great information Mathew...thank you!!!

Yikes not sure if my paypal account can withstand the price of that book especially as I want to save up for AussieCon 4. I'm quite happy with the original book so far.
