Default doona

In a second hand book dealer's today, I found just 1 McCaffrey: Decision at Doona, Ballantine 1969 1s ed. with the tangerine cat cover.

According to the stamp inside it started life in the base library at Cam Rahn.

Any ideas how it landed up in the middle of England?

Someone traveled from Cam Rahn to England and then decided to sell it to a second hand book dealer?

Ok, how's this?

It was mixed in a stack of personal effects and someone accidently took it from cam Rahn on TDY to NASA where they met an Astronaut who was an Annefan and so loaned it to said Astronaut who took it on a shuttle ride and stuck it in a spacesuit pocket where it slipped out and floated around until it got stuck in the landing gear and when the shuttle came in to land and the gear deployed it fell out and got caught in an atmospheric current which caused it to drift slowly down to earth, landing in a laundry basket in Wales, where it was found by a housewife who decided to take it to read while she was going on a shopping trip to London but when she got on the wrong train and ended up in Wolverhampton she sold it to a second hand bookshop for fare to get back on the train!

You mean a Lead Pipe.

Funny, I've never actually played Clue but I used to have a bunch of books of mini-mysteries starring the characters - the reader was supposed to figure out who actually killed Mr. Boddy. With really silly stories and REALLY bad puns.
