I have tried to search for the thread where we all put dragon names, and I cannot find it.
Can you help? I am going to name a jewelery dragon and thought that I would give it a real dragon name ending with ...th so I came here to seek inspiration ![]() It seems all the more fitting with Anne's passing ![]()

Hi Nina, nice to see you checking in!
I don't recall there being a thread of dragon names. At least not a general one, there have been times when people have had a stuffed animal or lizard to name and sought suggestions, but I don't think that's what you're looking for. Are you looking for fan-made names or names from the books?

![]() I remember a thread where everyone put in suggestions to what they would call their dragon, if they had one. It might be connected to a stuffed animal or an exhibition dragon or a mixture of book names and forum member given ones or even to a questionnaire as to which dragon you would fly. I only remember that there were such good suggestions that I wanted to return and be inspired ![]() I have tried to search Exhibition and Dragon books, but nothing seems to turn up, and I was hoping someone would remember the connection.

If you type in dragon names in the search engine (next to quick links in the menu bar), it comes up with a list of threads. Maybe one of these is what you are looking for, Nina. I vaguely recall something along the lines that you are suggesting about but unable to recall which thread it was in. Hence why I suggested typing in dragon names and see what happens.

I did find an old thread where Lady Maelin wanted a name for her dragon.
Here are the results: Arteth Christmath Christmeth Eireth (Anne lives) Garth Gifth Glitteth hollyeth Meetomith marlindeth Momth Jewlth Spelth Verdeth Verdith (green) helvath Anneth Ruth Sagareth Christmith Hollyath Maeth Zaranth Plinth Edith Someone added famous dragon names - not Pern style: Guivre Jormungander Fafnir Tiamat Piasa Quetzalcoatl Tarasque Peluda Then some Pern dragon names - the must be a list of those somewhere: Alaranth Amaranth Anareth Arith Branth Faranth Firth Hallath Hogarth Lioth Mnementh Monarth Prideth Ramoth Seventh Solth Voith Maybe this is the list of Pern's dragon names: http://felan.best.vwh.net/mush/pern/dragonnames.html A dragon name generator: http://www.polenth.com/fun/dragon.cgi Another dragon name generator giving Pern style names: http://nine.frenchboys.net/dragon.php Now I am ready to find names for my small friends ![]()
