There's an update of Elizabeth Kerner's NEWS section on her website.
http://www.elizabethkerner.org/news.html I'll mention it here because Lanen is much to shy to promote herself ![]() That's no problem because I'm her self-appointed professional website promoter ![]()

And he did and it is, thanks love!
I was at the doctor's getting the result of nerve induction tests. I have, apparently, moderate to severe nerve compression, i.e. carpal tunnel syndrome. Options: steroids (which I have rejected), surgery (still thinking about it) or stick with my chiropractor. So far, Gina (friend and chiropractor) wins! She got me from the serious, constant pins-and-needles (with some numbness) stage to fully functional hands. Brilliant woman. So here are my thanks for your doing the lawn, my darling husband (who is currently learning how to use Finale), It does look great, and the flowers show up so well now! ![]() Boy, have I married a sterling soul here or what?

A real true in this world Lanen...well for me that has always been you Elizabeth...or at least your alter ego in Kolmar. BUT...like everyone else has said, I would also love to met this fantastic healer of a woman, who can keep you fit and funtioning without steriods or the pain and recovery of surgery.
Glad to hear that your garden is in such lovely shape again...thanks to your dear hubby. Soooooooo.... how's the writing comming along...a bit easier or are the Kolmar gang being somewhat difficult?

I know that! So do Homebase, Wigleys, Jewsons, Screwfix, ans many more. But, how do you fix a handle onto the thing?
Does it depend on whether it's a thin thing or a thick thing? 'Cos that could be thinkening.

Elizabeth...those memories of your will also be filtered through several of your extremely interesting characters. If nothing else it might be interesting for your firiends and family to try and figure out what part of them you might have used, to give life to some of those self same characters.
Do they always say that writers should write what they know...and it seems that you know your characters...very, very, very well. I love it when they help you write. I have often imagined all sort of images, there with you next to your typewriter. sometimes a rather large lovely dragon is trying to poke his head in the window to see what your doing or offer advice...or some other of your Kolmar clan, coming in to sitting on your desk or making themselves comfy on the floor, sharping a knife, or chewing on something tasty....or taking a quick snooze, as they often do seem to need some rest...with all their aventuring... ![]() P.S. When you've put in an especially active day writing...get Steven to treat you to a lovely dinner out. Then you can treat us to reading about something very tasty in the story.

I had that once before and it seems to have to do with server overload.
It was gone when I tried an hour later. Sorry about that, Baggy, but it's beyond my control. ![]()
