I'd go in that, although I'd have a lot of catching up to do.

Hmm, wasn't this asked before? I am pretty sure of it, also that I pointed it out to Cheryl. Well, with this we poked her again

My reply now is same as it was then. I'd like to know more about what you'd use the forum. Mostly I'd just like to know that it would get enough traffic to be worth creating a new forum for.

Couldn't it come under as a sub-forum? Thought only, probably think of at least 6 who might use it.

We could also gather together the threads otherwise posted hither and yon about forthcoming eclipses etc.

I see it as being somewhat wider in subect than would otherwise fit under Edith's Science of Pern.

Sounds fantastic to me...even those of us that aren't amatuer astronomers would love to look. Even when we don't quite know what were looking at, there is always someone in the know to tell us, here on MoM. We do have the best astronomers you know!!! I have been following Venus, in my night and early morning sky, ever since Steven told me what I was looking at.

I don't think it would belong under 'Pern'. I think that (if we get it!) it would be better under the Exhibit Hall like the Photo Con

I agree Peter...it should perhaps be a sub category under the Exibition Hall...as they will be showing and sharing with us their skills with the stars!!!

Think that's what I meant - a sub-forum like the photo ones or where in the world (in this case, where in the galaxy perhaps )
