I need help remembering the title of a book. Well, actually it's a series of books. They were published sometime in the 1990s. They are set in modern time. I remember a group(bad guys) that had Excalibur, and raised King Arthur. They called him one of the "sleepers". There was a young man that got pulled into the situation and ended up befriending Arthur. They escaped the group at the end. In the second or third book, Arthur(now Bear) is the leader of a biker gang. The bad-guy group also raised Quetzacoatl(sp?) as another "sleeper". If anyone can tell me the titles or author of these books I would greatly appreciate it.
PS. I had the books at one time, but my Chihuahua got loose and discovered he enjoyed the taste of books. They were among the casualties ![]() |

I believe the author's last name begins with a C. It might be a D, but I'm pretty sure it's a C. This is really frustrating

Thank you, I wish it were the right one. In the one I"m trying to find Arthur is "awakened" fully adult. I think they brought him awake from some relics/casket? in a museum. In one of the other books, I think they had to go to Mexico to awaken Quetzacoatl. Also, for some reason the presence of oriental investors backing the whole operation keeps popping up in my head; but that may or may not be cross contamination from another story.
I'll try to put in more details as I remember them. |
