I have this book and I love it, I was wondering if anyone else owns this book and what are their feelings on it?

I think you'll find quite a lot of us have it and love it. I certainly do! Robin Wood is a fantastic artist -- just about as good as our own Maelin!

Thank you dear friend, that was very kind of you to say about my art work. Robin is a lovely and very accomplished artist, and has given us all a wonderful look at some of faces from the characters in our beloved Pern books, that Anne has written. I can't imagine a complete collection of the Pern books without her and Anne's, People of Pern, book being one of them. I know that I love my two copies of it.

I love the People of Pern. Hmmm, somewhere there's a thread where I was trying to identify what celebrity was what character. Not all of Robin's pictures use celebrities but there were a lot of them! Tho from what Hans was told only a couple of pictures use known people. But I'm a bit doubtful since so many are obviously a celebrity.
Ah, found it!!! http://forums.srellim.org/showthread...065&highlight=
I had a lot of fun finding celebrities, but ran out of ideas finally and some are a stretch, but others are very obvious, to me at least. There are lots of good ideas from lots of other members too, well worth checking out, if you're interested.
